Dunanda Falls

This beautiful waterfall can be accessed via an 8 mile walk from the bechler ranger station in the southwest corner of yellow station. While some choose to hike there in a day, the real way to enjoy the waterfall is to camp nearby. Be warned though, there are only a couple campsites near the falls and they get reserved quickly. Go in the offseason or risk not getting a spot!

Boiling River

Millions of visitors go to Yellowstone each year. Only a couple hundred stop by the boiling river each day. Just a couple hundred yards walk from near the north entrance of the park will take you to where hot and cold collide. A stream of boiling water converges with a swift river of ice cold water. In between, is a little slice of heaven. Jump in and enjoy a minute of serenity in an otherwise hustle and bustle park.
